Saturday, November 20th at 2:00 PM in the Community Hall. Bring your 1541 5.25" floppy disks and Amiga 3.5" diskettes. We will be repairing power supplies, demoing new MOS 6581 SID music tracks, and demonstrating Amiga Deluxe Paint IV animations.

1541 Floppy Drive Maintenance & Alignment Manual
- Unplug drive power and disconnect 6-pin serial IEC cable.
- Remove top beige case screws and inspect drive mechanism rails.
- Clean read/write head gently using 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol and a soft cotton swab.
- Lubricate carriage stepper guide rails with a tiny drop of white lithium grease.
- Check drive belt tension and motor spindle rotation speed with a 300 RPM strobe disc.
